A warm welcome to you and your children to their final year at Urmston Primary School! This page will give you an idea of what we get up to in Year 6 and will also provide regular updates and important information.

This year I will be working alongside the amazing Mrs Billingsley, Mrs Hart, Mrs Ball and Mrs Walsh in Year 6 with your children, providing teaching, support and working on getting them ready for their High School transitions in July (this will come quicker than you can imagine!).  Year 6 also means Year 6 SATs testing in May, Bikeablilty training (dates tbc), end of year productions / residentials and fun week in July and leavers activities.  We promise to make it a year to remember.

I am always here to answer any questions so please do not hesitate to ask!

Mr Keen

Friday: Homework handed out.

School PE kits need to be brought into school and left for the whole of the half term.  We will send them back to you in the holidays for washing.

12th September

We had a great PE lesson with a coach from The PE and Sports Hub this afternoon. We played team games and versions of Dodgeball and had great fun.

6th September

We have been developing our artistic side by drawing self portraits. We have especially focused on getting the face proportions correct. Good work Class 7.
